Created in Wen Ling Road, Kunming, China
The city of Kunming, China is going through a rapid process of transformation. Old buildings are demolished every day and new ones rise up. Wishing to give the space in Wen Ling Road a last gesture of respect, I decided to paint it fluorescent pink and decorate it. The project attempted to contrast distraction and construction. It created a dialogue between exposed walls and decorations that were meant to occupy the interior and now became the exterior.
